Bank Holiday Biking

I thought that I would take a picture of the bikes outside of our log cabin in Swanage, before they got dirty. The weather over the Bank Holiday was a bit mixed, with Saturday being a little rainy, so I was expecting the bikes to get a little dirty, and this they did. But it was great to see the bikes being used, with several people heading off over the hills (including me) others staying at lower levels to enjoy the local forest and country trails.
Herston, Swanage is perfect for all levels of cycling, I took one family over Ballard Down, They had driven past it many times but never climbed to the top, We took it easy going up, pushing the bikes from the road, 10 minutes later we were at the top, Then the thrill of the 7K down hill run to Studland, Stunning views, easy riding, with the Banks Arms pub at the end, it is a perfect ride for any one.
I hope that more people will join me in these fun for all rides.
